He goes into code level detail of:
- CPU Power Management through Frequency adjustments. Explaining P-States, C-States and how the schedulers (powersave, performance, schedutil etc.) are implemented in Linux
- He then transitions to processing of network traffic, which poses unique challenges bc of the latency requirements. For IPSec you would already need 18 standard CPUs to process a 100 Gbps connection
- Custom ASICs and their implementation are presented as solutions
